Galaxy S23 Plus Overview
There shouldn’t be any significant exterior differences between the Galaxy S23 Plus and the Galaxy S22 Plus. Though there will undoubtedly be some significant modifications, don’t anticipate your old Galaxy S22 Plus cases fitting your new Galaxy S23 Plus.
Redesigned camera island may be one of the biggest changes made to the Galaxy S23 Plus (and, by extension, Galaxy S23). Actually, it would be more accurate to refer to the “removal” of the camera island as a “revamp.” That’s true, we’re getting individual camera cutouts rather than a streamlined and integrated camera island that blends with the side frame of the phone. That’s not particularly a novel appearance; the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s rear cameras had a comparable design.
The slightly higher yet narrower aspect ratio of the Galaxy S23 Plus in contrast to the S22 Plus may be another significant adjustment to take into account. This could make it easier to hold, especially with one hand. We anticipate that the Galaxy S23 Plus will come in Beige, Black, Green, and Light Pink, at least initially. We anticipate that at least one new paintjob will become available down the road, as Samsung typically shakes things up a few months later with a new color option.
