In 2017, Apple unveiled the iPhone X, breaking grounds with removing the Home button, Face ID was introduced and Face unlocking during mask mandates… well that was a ride. Three years later, iPhone 12 added 5G service, restored flat-edges and welcomed the return of magnets with MagSafe. Then in 2023, the USB-C port Claiming Door finally opened on the iPhone 15 alongside a shiny 48MP camera, winning a fancier notification bar award for the Dynamic Island.
