Apple announced its iPhone 16 series on September 9th, 2024. It introduced four models including The iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro , and the 16 Pro Max. Under the hood, for the standard models is the A18 Bionic (6-core CPU, 5-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine) paired with 8 GB RAM. The chip improves CPU by 30 percent and GPU by around 40 percent over its predecessor. iPhone 16e – The Low-Cost Option
In February 2025 Apple launched the iPhone 16e, a more affordable variant (~US$599) dubbed a successor to iPhone SE. The phone was launched in Black and white, it keeps the 6.1 screen size and notch design of the iPhone 14 and supports USB-C.

It uses the A18 chip (4-core GPU), 8 GB RAM, and a single 48 MP main camera with 2x crop — no ultra-wide, MagSafe, or Qi2. It includes Action Button, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS, and Apple Intelligence.
