Infinix is a Hong Kong based smartphone company founded in 2013. As the subsidiary of Transsion Holding, Infinix expanded its business initially in Africa later expanding in South Asia where it competes with Tecno and Intel. Infinix continues to swell its portfolio with mobile phone models like Smart, Hot, Note, Zero and GT series each designed for different segments.

Early years (2013-2016)
Originally, Infinix expanded its business in Africa. In 2016, Infinix entered Pakistan becoming the first smartphone to manufacture locally there which reduces import costs and increase market adaptability.
Entry into Nepal (2017-2020)
In Nepal, Infinix Smart 4 sold exclusively via Daraz enhancing online visibility and sales reach. After it halted its operations for a brief moment they reentered with Hot 9 play in 2020.
AI and premium Expansion (2021-2025)
With its Hot 50 series, Infinix introduced AI-driven features and with its GT pro 20, it entered the gaming segment with 8200 Dimensity and 144Hz AMOLED.
Unlike other Smartphones, Infinix has three authorized distributors; Ola Electronic Pvt.Ltd., overseeing the eastern region, Sarathi Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.; overseeing western region and for Kathmandu Valley, there is kratos Technologies Pvt, Ltd.
